- Once approved, you will be matched with a team of 4 participants.
- Projects should start the first week of January (by January 6) and must be completed within 4 weeks.
Participants
Deliverables will vary depending on the project scope. At the conclusion of the project you will have assets that can be used to further your business goals.
Given the short, remote nature of this program we require a project-based experience. Please provide a concrete scope for the participant’s work and limit their work to a specific project.
If you choose to use a template from our library, ensure that you have added as much context for your business needs as possible.
Project Examples
Requirements
Projects should be 10-20 hours in length per participant and are to be completed over 2-4 weeks. Each project should require the contributions of 4 participants (max. 80 hours in total).
Projects can include, but are not limited to
Data Analytics
- Data manipulation, analysis, and visualization
- Extracting insights datasets
- Data cleaning, transforming, and modeling techniques
- Data-driven decisions and drawing meaningful conclusions
- Design a dashboard for visualizing key performance indicators
UX/UI Design
- Lead a user research study
- Develop user personas and journey maps
- Perform a competitive analysis
- Develop information architecture
- Sketch low-fidelity wireframes
- Create an interactive prototype in Figma
- Design for accessibility and usability
- Develop branding and visual design
Web Development
- Develop interactive web pages using HTML, CSS & Javascript
- Convert UI designs into dynamic web pages
- Contribute to the code-base of design systems
- Contribute to continuous integration & continuous development (CI/CD) in an agile environment utilizing tools like Git & Github
- Write object-oriented Javascript (OOP)
- Fetch data from APIs and use data for web page features
Cybersecurity
- Vulnerability Assessment report
- Security Architecture overview and recommendations
- Investigation & Research report
- Frameworks and controls that inform security operations
- Detecting and responding to incidents using an intrusion detection system
- Performing packet capture and analysis
