Career Connect is a cutting-edge digital platform designed specifically for UVA Alumni (Hoos), numbering over 275,000 globally. The platform supports alumni in their continuous professional development by offering a wide range of educational and skill-building content tailored to each individual’s skill profile and based on real-time labor market data on various career paths and industries.
Our vision is to foster a lifelong learning culture that empowers Hoos to thrive in an ever-evolving job market by providing access to the latest labor market intelligence, upskilling resources and certifications, and an ever-evolving set of learning resources after graduation. Career Connect offers flexible learning opportunities from both UVA and third-party sources for Hoos looking to deepen their expertise in their current field, explore new disciplines, or acquire skills across industry sectors and in emerging areas such as Artificial Intelligence, data science, and analytics. By fostering a lifelong learning culture and providing networking opportunities, Career Connect allows Hoos to remain competitive and advance in their careers long after they leave Grounds.

UVA Career Connect - Web Development (November 2024 - March 2025)
Web Development projects for US employers with talented UVA alumni! The University of Virginia is an iconic public institution of higher education, boasting nationally ranked schools and programs. UVA Career Connect allows employers to tap into top UVA alumni talent for your web development projects. Submit a project here for our team to review. Once approved, participants are not guaranteed yet, but they will apply to your project directly. You will have a chance to review, assess, and accept applications. 2-5 participants should be accepted per project. Projects can start from November and must be completed by the end of March 2025. Participants are looking to gain experience and provide impact in web development. Get specific in your project description about the skills you're looking for in order to attract the most suitable applicants.
